Assistant/Associate/Full Professor – Academic Cardiologist

The Department of Medicine, Temerty Faculty of Medicine at the University of Toronto and the Division of Cardiology of the University Health Network (UHN) and Sinai Health System (SHS) are seeking to recruit an academic cardiologist in the area of Electrophysiology. The successful candidate must be eligible for a full-time clinical academic appointment at the University of Toronto as a Clinician Teacher at the rank of Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor. The anticipated start date is July 1, 2021, or as mutually agreed upon.

The successful applicant will have training in arrhythmia, implanted devices, patient selection, management of devices. Teaching excellence will be assessed by the presence of scholarly contributions to teaching and education as evidenced by pedagogical innovation, curriculum development, experience in teaching at the undergraduate and graduate level, and teaching awards.

Academic Cardiac Electrophysiologist 
University of Ottawa Heart Institute

The Division of Cardiology, University of Ottawa Heart Institute seeks applications for an academic electrophysiologist.

Candidates must hold the FRCPC in Internal Medicine with subsequent certification in Cardiology or equivalent specialty certification.  Candidates must have training in the management of inherited arrhythmias +/- the ablation of complex arrhythmias. Candidates should preferably have a strong research interest along with formal research training, and a significant publication record.

Practice profile will be negotiated based on expected academic and clinical deliverables. Academic appointment ranking will be based on qualifications and experience.
